Diverse Options has several immediate weekend job openings for dependable and kind people with helpful hearts and good communication skills. Qualified candidates will be empathetic, patient, respectful and supportive toward individuals with intellectual and physical barriers.
Our Adult Family Home Caregivers help, guide, and mentor individuals with various needs and abilities as they perform daily life activities including safe and healthy cooking & cleaning tasks and grocery and personal shopping. Other responsibilities include helping individuals plan and participate in fun recreational activities as well as providing transportation for the individuals throughout the community using a company vehicle.
Pay: $18+/hour* for awake hours;
*Sleep time compensation of $20/night for sleeping overnight on Sunday through Thursday nights at the home; $40/night for sleeping overnight on Friday and Saturday nights at the home (private bedroom/bathroom).

WEEKEND Hours Available (approximate):
- Friday: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm (awake hours); overnight sleep time
- Saturday: 5:30 am – 10:00 pm (awake hours); overnight sleep time
- Sunday: 5:30 am – 9:00 pm (awake hours)
Our staff members enjoy the use of a private bedroom/office and bathroom while working and/or sleeping in the home. Sleep time compensation is paid to the individual for each night while they are sleeping. If the staff member is awakened during their sleep time for a period of more than 15 minutes, he/she will be paid at their regular rate of pay for the time spent providing services to our resident(s) living in the home.
Our Adult Family Home Caregivers work in a residential home, not a nursing home environment. Diverse Options, Inc. owns and operates four group homes in Ripon that each provide a safe and comfortable home environment for 4 people.
The minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualified candidates will have a good driving record and valid driver's license.
Education and Experience PREFERRED:
CBRF training/certification, including successful completion of the following: Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First Aid and Choking, Medication Administration and Management
While candidates with CBRF training are preferred, Diverse Options is willing to provide initial CBRF training for the right individual with a genuine interest in helping others succeed, and who displays an attitude and behavior consistent with the mission and values of the organization. Annual professional development is provided by Diverse Options for our staff.
